Branding projects often involve several rounds of feedback, different opinions and small decisions that are easy to lose over time.

Before giving feedback

Try to avoid comments like:

Instead, explain what is not working for you and why.

For example:

Instead of:

“I don’t like this.”

Try:

“This feels more playful than I expected. I was hoping for something that feels more refined and calm.”

Good feedback explains the reaction, not the solution.

You don’t need to tell your designer exactly how to fix something. Explain what you are feeling, what feels unclear or what no longer matches the project.

Feedback checklist

Before sending feedback, ask yourself:
